Game events temporarily change specific conditions. An event can apply globally or to a named city. Check its description, location and active period before planning around it.
A global event applies across cities. A city event only contributes its effects when the activity uses that city. Travelling can therefore change which local event conditions apply.
The automatic daily event runs on a UTC day, rather than each player's local midnight. The active period is the source of truth: an event must have started and not yet ended to contribute its effects. Staff can also set event conditions.
Event effects are specific. A travel-fare modifier changes fares; it does not automatically change travel duration. A crime Heat modifier changes Heat, while XP and cash reward modifiers are separate effects.
Implemented event effects can affect travel fares, crime outcomes and rewards, jail costs or duration, regeneration, Black Market prices and drug production or processing availability. Do not assume that every event affects all these systems.
An event that halts drug production can block starting new production and processing in the affected city. It does not mean your stored products have automatically disappeared.
Check current prices and action availability before spending. A useful bonus for one activity can be irrelevant to another, and ordinary resource, equipment and cooldown requirements still apply unless the particular effect changes them.
Avoid treating an expired event bonus as a permanent account upgrade. Recheck conditions when beginning another session or moving cities.
Game events are separate from your personal Activity feed, which records actions and notifications. See Activity and Fight Replays.
