The Bank stores cash separately from your money on hand. PvP Mug cannot take a bank balance.
A deposit starts a seven-day vault lock. You cannot add to an existing balance: the vault must be empty and unlocked before a new deposit is accepted.
Choose an amount within your current vault capacity. Depositing moves money out of your cash balance.
Full and partial withdrawals are allowed during the lock. An early withdrawal has a fee that decreases with the remaining lock time:
fee rate = 20% x remaining lock time / 7 days
The fee is deducted from the withdrawn amount and rounded down to whole dollars. At or after unlock, the early withdrawal fee is zero. Emptying the vault clears the lock and allows a new deposit.
For example, with half the lock period remaining, the fee rate is 10%. Withdrawing $10,000 then incurs a $1,000 fee.
Vault upgrades increase capacity and the annual interest rate. They do not change the seven-day deposit lock.
The starting Tin Box holds $50,000 and pays no interest. The highest tier, Sovereign Vault, holds $10 billion and has a 3% annual rate.
Interest accrues in daily time buckets, supports offline accrual and cannot grow the balance above the vault capacity. The displayed annual rate is not a daily payout rate.
Bank protection applies to PvP theft. Loan repayment or default collection can still draw from the bank. Compulsory bank draws for loan settlement do not incur the voluntary early withdrawal fee.
