A successful revive ends another player's hospital stay early. It can help someone return to play, but does not restore their Life to full.
You cannot revive yourself. The target must currently be hospitalized and must allow revives. Players can change whether they accept revives in their hospital settings.
Each valid attempt costs 25 Energy and 10 Focus. Your Revive skill and the remaining share of the target's hospital stay determine the success calculation. The current target preview is more useful than assuming every patient has the same chance.
| Result | Target | Your result |
|---|---|---|
| Success | Hospital stay and reason are cleared; current Life is retained | Revive XP scaled by remaining-time difficulty |
| Soft failure | No change | Resources spent; 8 Revive XP |
| Critical failure | No change | Resources spent; 4 Revive XP; lose up to 5% of your own maximum Life, rounded to a whole Life amount |
A critical failure cannot remove more Life than you currently have. Failed attempts do not injure the patient or extend their stay.
Check current Life before fighting. Ending a hospital timer and healing damage are separate effects. Use the available medical recovery options and allow regeneration as needed.
