A personal trade lets two players exchange cash, inventory items and eligible unique equipment through a shared offer and review process. Start it from the Trade action on a player's profile.
Each player controls their own offer. Include money, tradable stackable inventory items and eligible weapon or armor instances in inventory. Updating either offer clears both players' ready flags, so an altered deal requires fresh confirmation.
Both players select Continue to reach the review step. Check the other player's exact equipment instances and bonuses as carefully as your own offer.
Offers are read-only during review. Either player can go Back to editing, clearing readiness and acceptance. The exchange completes only after both players accept.
The server checks both offers against current ownership and balances at completion. If an item was moved or money spent, the trade returns to editing with an error instead of completing an incomplete exchange.
You can have only one active personal trade at a time. Starting a trade with the same partner resumes the existing one. City-stash drugs belong on the Street Market and cannot enter a personal trade. Non-tradable items are excluded too.
Cash and items stay with their owners until both players accept. They are not held in escrow while negotiating. Offered cash is protected from the base PvP mug calculation while the trade is active, but other spending can still invalidate your offer.
Incoming trade cash is subject to default-debt garnishment. Active trades expire after six hours and are cancelled by the periodic expiry sweep.
