Contacts are NPC buyers for products held in your current city's stash. They provide a direct sale option alongside the player-run Street Market.
Each offer identifies the product, price per unit, maximum quantity and next refresh time. Buyer availability and base prices depend on the city. An offer for one product does not cover every drug you own.
The maximum quantity is a limit for that sale. It is not a stored daily allowance that is consumed across multiple sales. Offers are recalculated in time windows, and the refresh timer marks the next window.
Higher Heat can reduce buyer capacity. Drug XP and applicable career effects can increase it. Use the current offer rather than assuming another city's buyer has the same limits.
The sale is limited by both your local stash and the buyer's current maximum. Product in another city's stash is unavailable until moved there through the appropriate travel and smuggling systems.
The Contacts screen is unavailable while jailed, hospitalized, traveling or laying low.
Selling rolls a drug bust-risk check and can add Heat. A bust seizes the quantity being sold, grants no sale payout and jails you. The sale is not risk-free simply because the buyer is an NPC.
Applicable drug-bust upgrades affect the risk calculation. Plan sales around your Heat and the consequences of losing the product, rather than only the unit price.
City sales tax, family technology and relevant district control affect contact economics. Active drug-sale events and your Charisma bonus can also change the payout. Family tax and outstanding Loan Shark debt can reduce the cash you finally receive.
The offer's displayed price includes the contact's family/district price adjustment and city sales tax. It does not include every personal bonus or later deduction, so the estimate and final cash increase can differ.
A successful contact sale grants Charisma XP. See Secondary Stats.
Contacts resolve a sale immediately against an available NPC offer. The Street Market lets you choose an asking price, but requires another player to buy the listing and has its own fees and risks.
Compare net proceeds, quantity limits, Heat and how urgently you need cash. Neither route guarantees the best result in every situation.
