Net worth estimates the combined value of your cash and owned assets after loan obligations. It is broader than spendable cash and can change without a cash transaction.
The calculation includes cash, bank balance, properties, inventory and city stashes, business purchase values, vehicles, active market items and uncollected market earnings. Active loan amounts owed and default-debt balances are deducted.
Properties normally use the stored original purchase price. Vehicle values account for damage. Item quantities use the game's canonical item-value estimate.
Gym membership is excluded. Spending on training, career progression or upgrades is not automatically an owned asset that adds to net worth.
The game first looks for a supported median of recent completed market sales. The time window adapts to trading activity, and at least three sales are needed before that market value is trusted. Otherwise, a known NPC value is used. An item without either source can contribute zero.
This is an estimate, not a guaranteed sale offer. A buyer may pay a different amount, and deductions can affect proceeds.
Listed items remain part of the calculation while they are for sale. Their estimated item value is used rather than your asking price. Listing an ordinary item at an extreme price does not make you correspondingly wealthy.
Uncollected market earnings count as money owed to you, including proceeds from listings that have sold out. Collecting them moves value toward cash, subject to applicable debt handling.
Market valuations, vehicle damage, borrowing and purchases can change the total. Borrowed cash comes with an amount owed that includes interest, so a loan is not free wealth.
